What is Splatoon Unofficial?
A short introduction to Splatoon Unofficial.
I wanted to make this introductory blog post to explain what exactly Splatoon Unofficial is.
Splatoon Unofficial is an account I originally set up in late November 2022 on Mastodon where I share the freshest news relating to the Splatoon series, as well as having polls and other stuff. A lot of people started to follow it as it was one of the only ways to get Splatoon news on the fediverse if you didn't want to rely on automated bots.
I'm expanding this into a newsletter today so people can begin receiving the latest news directly into their email inbox, which is also useful for people who might not have Twitter but also doesn't have an account on a Mastodon server.
The aim is to make these posts more longer form here, rather than the shorter form stuff I have on Mastodon (I’m limited to 1500 characters per post on my current server).
